Susan Wehrle, MSN, CNM
Susan Wehrle, CNM brings more than 15 years of experience in labor and delivery to her role as a midwife, with a background that spans bedside care, leadership, and midwifery. She earned her Master of Science in Nurse-Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University in 2025, building on a career deeply rooted in compassionate, evidence-based care.
Susan’s diverse clinical experience includes working in labor and delivery settings across the United States, as well as in China and the United Kingdom. Her work has ranged from high-risk hospital units to community and home birth settings, giving her a broad perspective on birth and women’s health. In addition to her clinical work, Susan recently completed her term as Coeditor-in-Chief of The Student Midwife Journal, where she was able to combine her nursing background with her degree in English.
A Texas native, Susan is excited to return to the DFW area and continue caring for women and families in her community. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, and baking, and is looking forward to getting to know the families she serves at Fort Worth Birthing & Wellness Center.
